 | If you lack the cash to spring for one of those not-so-cheap but cheaply made store-bought costumes, or you just don't want your kid to look like every other boy or girl on the block, think outside the cellophane with a good old-fashioned handmade Halloween! Last Halloween, I made this Mighty Eagle costume in an afternoon because our oldest daughter was married that October, and we were exhausted, broke and didn’t even think about Halloween, which just isn’t OK with a ten-year-old. Thank goodness for a hot glue gun and a stapler!  |
